My "beauty" routine


I am not a girly girl who likes to do her hair or putting make up everyday, my beauty routine is actually more focus on my body as I believe the more you put on your face the older you look!

MAKE UP:
So on a daily basis I will only put a bit of concealer if I have redness and some bronzer on my cheek to look healthy :)





When I go out or if I have an important meeting I would make an effort by putting some brown eyeshadow on the external side of my eye and a touch of highlighter on the inside corner with a bit of mascara but most of the time I won't put mascara I would only curl my eyelashes. THAT IS IT!



But when it comes to take care of my hair and body I have quiet a large selection of products and as I am going to Dubai I wanted to share with you, how I get my body ready for the Holidays and most important how I keep my skin and hair moisturised!


HAIR:
So we first going to start with the hair, I have never ever coloured my hair or style it on any level, I just let it dry naturally ( when I don't have time I use the hair dryer on a cold mode).
Every 3 days I put Moroccan oil or pure coconut oil from my roots to the tips and keep it overnight, the morning after I just wash it with a normal shampoo but try to rinse it with filtered water, I actually prepare a few jar of water filtered with my Brita ( it sounds crazy but trust me it works!)
I also put Moroccan Oil everyday on my ends to avoid them to split!

Very important! I trim it myself every 2 months, I hate going to the hairdresser, I would only go if I have to layer a bit like every year.




CELLULITE :
Enough about the hair!
Now let's talk about CELLULITE! YES, I might be 5"11 and being quite slim, I have some on my tights.
I can only blame myself, I gave up working out for the past 6 months and developed a passion for Banana muffins!
But anyway there is a cure for everything nowadays, so every morning I dry brush my entire body for around 10 min before taking a warm shower, after that I put the Aveda birch oil and massage my tights for an other 10 min.
I put Johnson Baby oil on the rest of my body it does wonder or if on holiday I would put the Huile Prodigieuse by NUXE ( everyone need to own a bottle!!!)
If I get really dry skin ( no no I do not shower with my Brita!) I moisturise my skin with Egyptian Magic , don't ask what it is made of but I put it everywhere feet, cuticle, body....
I let my cream dry while I drink my coffee ( with cinnamon and coco oil!)
At night I, again, take a shower let my skin dry and I apply FAT GIRL SLIM from Bliss, it really works, after 2 weeks my skin is smooth!
I know healthy people would tell me I should do squats or pilates or whatever but right now I do not feel like it!






FACE:

Skin, skin, skin... what else can I tell you?
I do not have the best skin as it get really dry and sensitive whatever I do!
So I'm trying not to do anything, as I said above I do not wear any make up but what I do is just try to get my skin clear at all time.
Once a week I do a Ole Henriksen Power Peel, it leaves my skin clean and smooth just like if I had a facial in a beauty salon!
When I do not well I get really tiny spots called microkystes, that is the really annoying ones which make your skin looks grainy!
So once again I have the solution, Murad offers a affordable range of acne prone products and it works, as long as you only use it when you get bad skin otherwise you will have this dry, crocodile look skin!



FAKE TAN:
Last but not least, I fake tan! Yes a few days a week I apply a gradual fake tan at night on my face and body to give me a healthy glow that I obviously can not get in London.
I use both Saint Tropez and Xen-Tan which are for me the bests.
I am very aware of the sun damages on my skin so I actually prefer smelling like burn cake from time to time than looking like a ripped raisin in 5 years.

I do tan when I am on Holiday but I start with a SPF30 ( SPF 50 on my face) and once I feel my skin is ready I switch for SPF20.

That is really simple to keep your skin looking healthy!
