You just saw that picture and you think: " where is that place?", that is the view from my room suite at the Hotel Pont Royal. Yes, I am very lucky sometimes!

What is best than waking up to that incredible view featuring the Eiffel Tower, the big wheel, the Grand Palais and of course, Montmartre. I can tell you now, nothing!

We left Paris and our beloved Saint Germain in August after 9 months living here and we miss it so much.
We were very fortunate to spend a few days at the Pont Royal, a five stars hotel in the heart of Saint Germain ( Paris left bank).
There is a certain atmosphere in that hotel which brings you back in the days, when F.Scott Fitzgerald, Boris Vian, Jean Paul Sartre, Hemingway spent some great time in the gleaming lobby and the Signature bar.

Now let me tell you a bit more about the hotel in details ...

On the second night, my fiance, Elie, and I had the great chance to stay in one of their ten suites, that one was on the top floor, it features a living room, a big bathroom, a master bedroom, two terraces including the insane view one and one thing that I can't live without, the Nespresso machine ( yes, I am one of those people who can't even say a word before my expresso shot in the morning!).

This hotel is the perfect place if you want to discover Paris's left bank and especially Saint Germain. You will be immersed in literary and artistic Paris, a couple of blocks away from the famous Cafe De Flore, the galleries and the book shops.

And if you feel like visiting the Right's bank you will just have to cross the Seine, which is less than 5 minutes away from the hotel, take a stroll trough the beautiful Tuileries Gardens and you will arrive on Rue de Rivoli in less than 15 minutes if you don't stop every 30 seconds to take pictures of the breathtaking view.

By the way, I forgot to tell you that the Hotel's restaurant l'Atelier by the Michelin starred chef Joel Robuchon... and kitchen even supplies the bar snacks and room service.
I told you I did not want to leave!
